The fly plaid shown in the image features a different pattern, as there are no existing pictures of a Baltersan fly plaid. You are purchasing a piece of history—the first-ever Baltersan fly plaid to be created!

This product is made to order, so please consider this if you need it by a specific date. The first batch of Baltersan tartans, crafted by the prestigious Lochcarron of Scotland, will be the first Baltersan tartan in 440 years!

These Fly Plaids are custom made from lightweight (Reiver 10 oz.) tartan fabric. They feature a 25cm (10")deep pleat in one corner and are worn draped over the shoulder fastened with a plaid brooch. Complete your highland dress by adding a tartan fly plaid to match your kilt into your formal attire.
